my apple crostada pie thingy

My mother never made pie, nor did I ever eat it. This is my attempt at the pie world. You can make your own crust, but I tried and it was rather infuriating. I suggest getting a Pillsbury pie crust. Dont put the top on, just leave it open. It looks and tastes amazing. Great for fall parties.

Apple Walnut Crostada

you will need:
ready made frozen pie crust
3tbsp butter
4 Granny Smith Apples, or any apple you like really. cut into thin slices
1/4 cup sugar
tsp Cinnamon
a lemon
1/2 cup crushed or uncrushed walnuts
1/2 goat cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees or whatever the premade pie box says
In a large skillet, start to slowly melt the butter.
Add the apples, Cinnamon, and sugar.
Stir frequently, cook 5 minutes.
Let cool, about 10 minutes.
Add cheese, and walnuts.
Zest the lemon into mixture and stir carefully.
Add to piecrust and cook 25 minutes or what the pie box says.

Eat and enjoy, the creaminess of the goat cheese with the crunch of the walnuts are amazing next to the sweet appley goodness.
