10 toxic beauty ingredients to avoid

one thing im triying to be more diligent about this new year is my appearance, which is an extension of having pride in myself. usually i just get up, wash my face and go. but lately ive tried to put on some makeup, which i realized i dont really know how to do, and curl my hair, which i cant do either. this is leading to me really trying to find some quality products that i can really rely on and start a relationship with. the only thing i have always used is noxzema facewash and either oil of olay or ponds cold cream as a moisturizer. but i have always gone back and forth with body washes and shampoos and most of them really irritate my skin. for all you ladies out there and men too of course looking to invest in really good products that arent bad for you, your in luck. i have acquired a list of the top toxic ingredients that are probably in your products. you should throw these products away. sucks right? even my olay and ponds cream products both contain mineral oil and propylene. up to 60% of what you put on your body is absorbed into your bloodstream and thats scary stuff. i even found these products in stuff i thought was a good product like aveeno. throw it all away!! i bought some castille soap and am now trying to make my own body wash until i find another one i like and im breaking the bank at aveda to keep my itchy scalp in check.
